About me
Living in Mannheim, Germany, I am currently participating in the Masters program in Business Informatics (dt. Wirtschaftsinformatik) at the University of Mannheim. As part of these studies I have stayed aborad for one semester at the Singapore Management University from August to December 2010. At the moment I am working on my Master Thesis, which consists of a qualitative study on the "Acceptance of Softwar-as-a-Service (SaaS)-Solutions to Support Market Communication Processes in the German Energy Sector".
The thesis is created in cooperation with the HSAG Heidelberger Services AG, where I am also part of the development of the software EDIcat WiM.
I have worked for three years from 2008-2011 at SAP in Walldorf, where I was part of the Netweaver Solutions Management & Rollout Early Demo and Config Team. My main responsibility was the JAVA component of the SAP Netweaver Demo Model. The Demo Model provides an unified data model, based on the fictional company ITelO, to establish a consistent usage of demo data within tutorials, demos and comparable use cases throughout SAP. Other topics where providing the IT infrastructure for SAP TechEd in a traditional way as well as providing demo systems in a cloud infrastucture for SAP Virtual TechEd.
For those, which are wondering where the nickname oubou68 comes from, here is the explanation: In 1998 a videogame called "Unreal" was released. Within this game, there is an alien race called the Nalis, which had a strange language, including "ouboudah". During a heavy LAN-Party I got the Idea to name myself "ouboudash" - Don't ask why! In the time after that I played a lot online, and finally I got the choice if I wanted to get called "oubou" or "dash". You can guess what I chose. The other part of my name, the number 68 is representing the city I am from: Mannheim. This is because the zip code of Mannheim is 68xxx. Now you know the secret. ;)
